Valentine Day & Retirement update

After today I have 8 working days. I actually am very excited. No more getting up at 5:00, unless I want to rise and shine that early. We got an email at work about the United Fund food bank needing volunteers on Friday and Saturday morning. I called to volunteer for Fridays. It is just 'down the road" on route 25 by the Bayer plant. Don and Bertie have volunteered at a food bank ran by their church for several years and they enjoy it. I am thinking about calling Thomas Hospital or talk to Treva first about volunteering there.

I bought all 3 girls just small stuff for Valentine Day. Cards, sweethearts, socks (Looney Tunes), and headbands. No that is wrong Mikael didn't get a headband, I bought her a pink knit hat. She loves hats. I can remember a time when she hated pink, but now she likes it and pink suits her very well. Mikael's Peppie bought all 3 girls a card with money and tee shirts he bought when he went to Miami last week. He is such a good man. He never forgets the twins on Holidays and he is not their Grandfather.

Graceie's favorite color is orange, of all things and I don't know if Faith has a favorite color.

Last night Faith ate all of her Sweethearts and then tried to give Grace the empty box saying that she (Grace) had eaten all of hers and that the full box was hers (Faith's). Gail told her not to try and con her that we knew who ate the sweethearts. I had to buy their cards exactly alike, the socks were the same, etc to keep Faith from being unhappy and wanting to trade with Grace. If Grace picks first when they get different stuff, Faith always thinks that Gracie has the best and wants hers. Gracie, bless her heart, will always trade with her twin to make her happy.
