Post Thanksgiving

So it's back to work and I am glad. I was depressed all week end. Just could not kick it. We had a nice dinner.... and enough leftovers for all week end. Gail was going to make chili Sunday since she figured by then everyone would be tired of leftovers. However she woke up very sick Saturday morning. The girls all had colds and were sick over Thanksgiving, and she had been trying to get a cold but by Saturday she was too sick to sit up. I watched the girls so she could go to bed and I made the chili but I do not make great chili her's is much better, but we ate it. She got up once Saturday feeling slightly better and got all of her Christmas decorations out of the attic and has not felt since then like doing anything with them.

Tummy Virus

I was sick from Tuesday last week until Sunday. After being sick at work Tuesday I was off the rest of the week. There seems to be some sort of virus making its rounds.

Halloween night was fun. It started out as a perfect evening. It was kinda warm the leaves were blowing and rustling under your feet, there were clouds the sky that made you expect to see goblins or a witch ride by any minute. The twins were fairies and they were so cute. I like to go with them so I walked for a while then went back to the apartment. In an hour or so it started raining hard, by the time Gail and the kids were back they were soaked. I think the twins finally caught on that "this Halloween thing is good. Everyone gives you candy"!
