Hey sorry it has taken me so long to write since i have been back online. I need to get in the habit again of checking facebook a couple of times a day. Although i haven't see u on when I have been. do you still play the games? How is Bob and everyone? any plans to come in this summer? I love U and miss connecting even online. write more next time

Hmmm

I can't beleive I haven't written since I retired!! I need to come back in tomorrow if possible and update some things particularly about the twins and Mikael before they are lost from my mind forever.

This is It!!

My big red letter day, but it just does not seem real. It feels like any other morning. Maybe when I wake up tomorrow and realize I don't have to go to work it will seem real.

1 More Day

Tomorrow is the last day. I am excited about entering a new phase of my life. Who knows what may happen. I didn't ever think I would feel this way about retiring.

2 MoreWorking Days

It doesn't seem possible or even real yet. I wonder if everyone feels this way. George tells me I won't like it at first but I think he is wrong about that. I will love getting up in the mronings at my own pace. I have always been a morning person (early to bed early to rise) but with not sleeping well I hate getting up at 5 or 5:30 anymore. Stopping in the middle of the week I think I like that even more because come Thursday morning I do not have to get up!!!

I was packed and ready to go spend the week end with George. Lawrence wanted to get the oil changed before Gail took it on the hill. While doing that they found something wrong that needed fixed. It seems like ever since he paid it off something has been wrong with it. They were still working on it late Saturday evening and I had to call George back to tell him I wasn't going to make it. I would have almost rather be beat then to have to tell him that. I know how I would feel if I was by myself and expecting someone and they didn't make it. He even got up early Saturday because he was expecting me before noon. He has been staying up late the last few weeks and then sleeping almost all day. I lefta my bag packed except I did take out the chinese cabbage I had put in so I could make him corn beef hash with it. He loves chinese cabbage as a salad with mayo too.
